Where is SAKURAKIRUU based?
Our brand is based in Indonesia, our small business has a focus on sharing our love and passion we put into each one of our unique 1 of 1 handmade pieces with the world ♡

Where do your base garments come from, and how are SAKURAKIRUU pieces made?
Our base garments are thrifted, then thoroughly washed and cleaned before being reworked. Each design is 1 of 1, meaning there’s only one in stock for every reworked piece. Even when we repeat a design, small handmade details make every item slightly different and uniquely yours. SAKURAKIRUU doesn’t produce in mass. We use scrap fabrics to create our patches and hand-draw cute elements with fabric crayons and paints to add a personal touch. Our focus is on sustainability and slow fashion! We’ll continue making thoughtful and lovable pieces for the world :)

Do SAKURAKIRUU shirts only come in one size?
Our shirts mostly range from M to XL/2XL, though sizing can vary depending on the base garment. We’re also always on the lookout for larger sizes to include more body types. Since our base pieces are primarily men’s shirts, we crop and rework them into a boxy fit. Each item’s exact size and measurements are listed on its product page. To ensure the best fit, we recommend comparing our listed measurements with a shirt you already own before placing your order!

How does shipping work?
We ship both internationally and nationally, using Pos Indonesia for international orders and JNE express for domestic ones. You can find more details on our Shipping & Return Policies page. Shipping fees will be calculated and shown during checkout. Since we're still a small brand, our shipping range may be limited for now. But don't worry! We plan to expand it as we grow and have more resources! ♡

Do you allow combined shipments to save up on shipping fees?
Combined shipment is only possible for the purchase of two ties and/or a shirt and a tie. For more information on combined shipping, please check our Shipping & Return Policies page.

Why is there a limit on the amount of reworked items I can purchase?
Our pieces are unique and handmade in small quantities so we limit our shirts order to one item per order and/or up to two ties per batch. We do this to ensure every pieces find their own special homes! Please note that heavier packages may incur an additional $5 USD shipping fee. 

How and when do I order?
Orders can only be placed on our designated order days and times. We don’t accept preorders since all our pieces are limited and handmade per batch.
Before the order time begins, our website will be temporarily frozen for about 10 minutes to prepare. Once the order time starts, simply refresh the page, choose the item you want, and proceed to checkout!^^

What is the checkout process like?
During checkout, customers will be asked to fill in their shipping information before proceeding to payment. Please make sure all details are complete and accurate to avoid any delivery issues.

Please provide your full mailing address, including street name, city, state/province, and zip or postal code.

What currencies do you accept for payment?
All of our products are listed in USD (United States Dollar). If you are shopping from outside the U.S., PayPal will automatically convert the total into your local currency at the current exchange rate. Please note that any conversion fees or charges are determined by your payment provider. For an estimate before purchasing, you may check the latest USD conversion rate by searching “USD to [your currency]” on Google or any reliable currency converter.

What payment options are available?
Our website currently only accepts payments through PayPal for the smoothest checkout experience.
Stripe (which accepts card payments) is unavailable in Indonesia, where SAKURAKIRUU is based, therefore we cannot accept payments through Stripe.
PayPal can face issues in the checkout process due to our item limitability, but they are usually resolved much faster.

My payment went through, but I’m not sure I successfully made a purchase. What should I do?
Since SAKURAKIRUU items are very limited and can sell out within moments, it’s possible for multiple people to check out at the same time. In these cases, the website automatically confirms the order for the person who secured the item first and cancels the others. If your payment still went through even though you didn’t get the item, your money will be returned. If you need any help from us, feel free to reach out! ♡

How do I know when my products are already shipped?
We will inform your shipping information through email once we ship your order! you'll be able to track your order in 1-2 days after we send you the tracking number, due to the package scanning and processing process in customs regulation. If you have any questions or if you need us to track it for you, feel free to reach out to us by email :)

Does SAKURAKIRUU have a newsletter subscription?
Unfortunately, we do not have a newsletter subscription yet. For now, we will notify exact dates for our drops around 1-2 weeks before each drop through our instagram. ♡

Is SAKURAKIRUU open for customs?
We are currently not open for custom as we are currently lacking space to do it, our designs will be as it is for now! We will be open for custom commissions once we have a more comfortable workspace. ♡

What kind of packaging does SAKURAKIRUU use?
We’re still in our early stages so our main priority is making sure your order arrives safely! For now, our packaging is made of plastic. We encourage you to reuse or recycle them responsibly. We’ll also include some stickers and a care instruction card in your package as a little token of love from us! ♡

I received my package. What's next?
We’d love to hear from you! Please let us know once your package arrives. You can either reach us through Instagram DMs or email. And if you get the chance to wear your piece, don’t hesitate to send us photos or tag us on Instagram! We’d love to see it on you! 
If you happen to forget, no worries! We’ll send a quick follow-up email a few days after delivery just to confirm your package arrived safely. ♡

When will SAKURAKIRUU restock after each drop?
We usually come back every 1–2 months! After each drop, we take time to review orders and create new products. Each piece starts from thrifting and cleaning our base shirts, then moves to hand-sewing patches and adding custom details. It is a process that takes love and patience! We’ll announce the exact date of our next drop about 1–2 weeks in advance, so please stay tuned! Thank you for understanding and supporting our slow, handmade process. ♡

Why are SAKURAKIRUU's product prices the same in USD and IDR?
Handcrafted pieces are very different from mass-produced items. Each one takes hard work, time, creativity, and care! Sadly, many handmade artists are often underpaid for their hard work. Every artist deserves to price their creations fairly, especially when it’s their full-time passion. At SAKURAKIRUU, our prices reflect the ideas, materials, time, effort, and skill that go into every 1-of-1 piece. Each design is original, hand-sewn, and hand-painted, made with love and patience. ♡
We understand that our prices may not fit everyone’s budget, especially for local buyers, and that’s okay. We simply hope our work helps more people value and appreciate handmade art and the dedication behind it!

Why is SAKURAKIRUU not available on Shopee?
Shopee is not available in all countries, the app primarily operates in Southeast Asia, we have a variety of international customers outside of SEA and we would like to share our works with the world! We take pride in creating handcrafted products, with a purpose to promote sustainability and slow fashion. Larger marketplaces often cater to mass-produced products, which can increase the risk of plagiarism or unauthorized reproductions by unsustainable companies.
By selling through our current website, we can carefully curate our customers and ensure that every purchase comes from someone who truly understands and values each of our handmade pieces. ♡

Can I purchase your products in person or on other platforms?
No. All purchases and transactions are strictly handled through our BigCartel website, and products are only available during the designated drop dates of each collection. We do not sell in person or any other e-commerce platforms. We also do not share personal contact information, as we value both our customers’ security and our brand’s privacy. Please be cautious of anyone claiming to sell our products elsewhere. The official BigCartel website during drop dates is the only secure and authentic place to shop SAKURAKIRUU!

Does SAKURAKIRUU sell reworked items on any other platform besides Bigcartel? 
No, we are only selling reworked items through this website, any other shop using our name and selling our products on other platforms is a scam, please help us by reporting these shops if you ever encounter one.

Can I remake SAKURAKIRUU's designs for personal use?
Yes! feel free to! we encourage you to give new life to your old clothes! it is a fun and sustainable way to personalize your belongings ♡

Can I remake SAKURAKIRUU's design to sell/for commercial use?
No ♡ we are strictly against anyone selling designs identical to ours and we will sue for copyright infringement ♡

Can I remake and sell your products on Roblox/Minecraft?
No. We do not allow our products, designs, or collections to be remade, reproduced, or sold on digital gaming marketplaces such as Roblox, Minecraft, or any similar platforms. Our items are original works, and we ask that they be respected as such. Any reproduction or resale in these spaces is strictly prohibited to protect the integrity and creativity of our brand.
